Zephaniah 3:16
On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.”
Explanation
The word "Weak" in Hebrew is "Raphah" (רָפָה). It means to sink down, to go limp, to lose heart. It's the kind of feeling you get when the wind has been taken out of your emotional sails!
Inspiration
Are you tired? Its exhausting trying to battle through. Like a boxer who's arms are fatigued in a long fight, we cannot drop our hands.
Application for Today
- If you are feeling weak, it is time to return to the Lord for a prayer around strength.
Prayer
Father God, would you strengthen me as I feel weak. Help me to keep moving forward, despite my fatigue. Be my strength. In Jesus' name, Amen.
