Explanation
The word "Slavery", in Greek, is "Douleia" (未慰蠀位蔚委伪). It means bondage, the state of being entirely controlled by another.
Inspiration
Are you held prisoner by your fear? Does it have a grip on your life? Jesus promises freedom to those who are bound up.
Application for Today
- Do not allow thoughts and the opinion of others to hold you prisoner. You were made for freedom, so today, walk in the freedom of Jesus.
Prayer
Father God, I thank you that you have set me free. Help me to live in your freedom today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
