Deuteronomy 3:22

Do not be afraid of them; the LORD your God himself will fight for you.

Explanation

The word for "Fights" in Hebrew is "Lacham" (לָחַם). It means to do battle, to consume or devour the enemy.

Inspiration

Do you find yourself in a fight often? Have you been wronged? It can be hard to let go and trust God to intervene, but we are told that God fights our battles. He is for you!

Application for Today

What would it mean to let God be in control of your conflict today? How might you let Him fight your battles and be your defender?

Prayer

Father God, help me to fight my battles in prayer. You are able to move hearts and minds. Please take charge of my difficult conversations and problems. In Jesus' name, Amen.
