Proverbs 3:24
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Explanation
The word "Afraid" in Hebrew is "Pachad" (פָּחַד). It means to be in dread, to tremble, or to experience sudden alarm. It's that kind of feeling you get when your nerves won't settle.

Are you feeling unsettled today? Do you find it hard to slow your mind down? These things can easily rob us of our sleep

- Speak out to the Lord what is on your mind and He will be quick to bring you peace.
Prayer
Father God, You are with me and I will not be afraid. Help me to bring my fear in line with your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
