Matthew 8:26

He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Explanation

The word "Afraid" in the Biblical Greek "Deilos" (δειλός). This words is timid, fearful, lacking courage in the face of circumstance. It's not a fear of what could be, but a fear of what currently is.

What would it look like to stop and pray through your situation? Reframe it with faith recognising that this will past and God is bigger.

Prayer

Father God, help me to see my problems through the eyes of faith. Help me to not be afraid and overcome but to step back and step over them. In Jesus' name, Amen. aa
