Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Explanation
The Hebrew word used here for "Burden" is "Yehab" (ืึฐืึธื) โ It is a burden, specifically that which is given or assigned by providence. Sometimes we think of our situation as our 'lot' in life, as though it is given. Although we carry a burden, there is nothing to say that we should carry it alone. A burden can be shared, moved and placed in the hands of the Lord

Are you carrying heavy thoughts? What is your burden for today? Are you willing to shift some of the weight over to God in prayer?
Application for Today
- Name your heaviness. If it helps speak them out and label them. Actively invite God to help you carry them and ask Him to send encouragers to help lift you up.
Prayer
Father God, I thank you that I do not have to carry my burden alone. Would you lift me in my heaviness and send encouragers to walk with me in this heavy and difficult time. In Jesus' name, Amen.
