Proverbs 29:25

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

Explanation

The word "Snare" in Hebrew is Mokesh (מוֹקֵשׁ). It means a bait or lure, a trap designed to entangle. Fear is a very real thing and you will find it proves to be a genuine trap when given in to.

Inspiration

Is fear entangling you? Are you paralysed by emotion? It's amazing how emotions like fear can arrest us. We must not let fear stop progression.

Application for Today

Fear is not wrong. It's a natural response. However, we cannot let it win. Today, choose to be brave with a conversation that your afraid to have. Ask the Lord to help you with wisdom in your words.

Prayer

Father God, help me to have a courageous and kind conversation, not allowing fear to trap me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
