Psalm 118:6

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Explanation

The Lord is "with me" in Hebrew is "Li" (לִי). It literally translates to "for me", "on my side" or "to me". It speaks to the nearness of God and this idea of protection and covering despite our hardships.

Inspiration

Are you feeling isolated? Are you afraid? The Lord is near and with you. He will not abandon you.

Application for Today

  • Begin to pray and remind your soul that God is not distant or far. Allows your heart to be aware of His closeness.
