Hebrews 13:6
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
Explanation
In the Greek, "Tharreo" (θαρρέω) is the word for "Confidence". It means to be of good courage, inherently bold. Imagine lifting your chin up, shoulders back and standing tall. It is something you say with utter conviction.
Inspiration
How do you deal with uncertainty? What if you could carry confidence through the day? Hebrews 13 tells us that the Lord is our helper. He will sure us up in the place of confidence. Walk today in faith and assurance!
Application for Today
- Today, lift your head high. Remind yourself of the confidence you have in Christ. He is with you. Walk with your shoulders back and a smile as you greet people.
Prayer
Father God, Help me to walk in your confidence today, knowing that your are for me and you are with me. In Jesus' name. Amen.
