John 11:25

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

Explanation

The resurrection is central in our faith. Without it, there is no hope. Anastasis (ἀνάστασις) means rising up, a standing again, life breaking through death. It is an offence to death.

Inspiration

Are you in need if a heart and soul resurrection today? What in you needs life? Jesus came to bring us life through the hope of resurrection. It's time to invite Him into every hidden area.

Application for Today

Reflect on the state of your life and areas you perhaps haven't submitted to Jesus. Prayerfully invite Him in through His Holy Spirit to bring life.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, I am lost, broken and empty without you. Expose my heart and bring life to the dead spaces within my life. Awaken my soul. In Jesus' name, Amen.
