Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Explanation

Healing is a common expectation for the person of faith. And, we experience it in so many ways. "Rapha" (רָפָא) mean restore, to make whole, to mend what is broken at its deepest level. We are healed by the love and sacrafice and victory of Jesus.

Inspiration

Are you feeling broken? Maybe physically or emotionally. Healing is available to you. It comes through practical means, but also through prayer. Where do you need to invite the Holy Spirit to bring healing today?

Application for Today

Invite Jesus to heal your heart, your mind, your soul and your body.

Prayer

Father God, would you meet me in my moment of need and heal me. Bring comfort, restoration, and mend my brokenness in Jesus' name. Amen.
