Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Explanation

Think of the word "Dismayed" here as a sentry, scout or guard keeping an eye out for threats. Sha'ah (שָׁעָה) is the Hebrew word that has you looking over your shoulder.

Father God, I thank you that you cover me and protect me. Help me to not be intimidated or fearful. Instead, I want to be secure in you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
